• A Root-Cause Holistic Framework for Understanding & Supporting Milk Supply

Advanced Clinical Education + Practical Tools for Complex Low Milk Supply

Milk Supply Mastery System

Low milk supply is often taught too simply. Many lactation professionals are taught to focus heavily on latch, milk removal, pumping frequency, weighted feeds, and supply-and-demand basics.

And while those pieces absolutely matter, they are not always the whole story. And instead of saying "Some people just don't make milk," we start saying "Let's investigate why your body isn't producing milk" because patients deserve the deep dive and answers to why their body didn't produce milk.

In real clinical practice, low milk supply can be influenced by deeper physiological patterns that are not always fully explored in standard lactation education.

The Milk Supply Mastery System™ bridges that gap.

This evidence-informed, root-cause-focused educational program brings together clinical reasoning, structured assessment, and practical implementation tools to help providers approach complex low milk supply cases with greater confidence.

Because families deserve more than generic advice, and providers deserve the education and resources to investigate beyond the basics.

See the complete course curriculum and learning objectives →

The Milk Supply Mastery System was created to organize the missing pieces into one structured clinical learning experience.

Because complex low milk supply deserves more than generic advice.

From Scattered Information to Structured Clinical Reasoning

Complex low milk supply cases require more than memorizing symptoms or recommending the same interventions.

The Milk Supply Mastery System™ helps providers connect physiological patterns, clinical history, laboratory findings, and evidence-informed interventions within a structured framework.

By the End of This Program, You'll Be Better Equipped To:

  • Recognize hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, and anatomical factors that may contribute to low milk supply.

  • Identify clinical patterns that warrant further investigation or referral.

  • Ask more targeted questions and strengthen clinical assessment.

  • Interpret laboratory findings within the appropriate clinical context and scope of practice.

  • Evaluate where herbal and nutritional support may or may not be appropriate.

  • Develop more individualized, evidence-informed support plans.

Less guesswork. More clinical reasoning. Better-informed care.

Low milk supply is complex; it is physiological. Never end with " Some People Just Don't Make Milk" without answers for your patient. Low milk supply can be caused by thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, prolactin insufficiency, adrenal dysregulation, iron deficiency anemia, retained placental tissue, hypertension, nutritional gaps, etc. These are measurable, identifiable, treatable conditions. And most lactation training never teaches you how to find them. Now you will!

Kenita Chenevert, BSHM, MA, IBCLC

Founder & CEO

I am a board-certified lactation consultant, herbalist, and founder of Milk Drops, a low milk supply lactation support practice.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, a Master of Arts in Maternal and Child Health and Wellness with a major in Human Lactation, and an IBCLC certification. My background brings together clinical lactation care, maternal-child health, healthcare systems, and herbal medicine — which allows me to approach low milk supply from a more layered, root-cause perspective.

I built the Milk Supply Mastery System™ because I spent years watching patients fail every standard intervention and eventually realized the problem was not always what we were treating. We were looking at behavior when we should have been looking at bloodwork.

We were focusing on pumping frequency when we should have been asking about delivery complications. We were troubleshooting latch when we should have been asking about ice cravings, exhaustion, cycle changes, thyroid symptoms, metabolic history, and postpartum recovery patterns.

This system is everything I wish I had been taught earlier in my clinical journey. It was created from real clinical work with real low milk supply patients, the kind of cases where generic advice was not enough, and where deeper assessment made the difference.

My goal is to help lactation professionals better understand the physiological, hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, and stress-related patterns that can impact milk production, so they do not have to piece it together the long way.

Nothing is gatekept here. This system was built to help clinicians feel more informed, more organized, and more confident when supporting complex low milk supply cases.

Why Clinicians Are Choosing Milk Supply Mastery

Because low milk supply is rarely as simple as "pump more."

Providers are looking for a more structured way to think through cases involving:

✓ Thyroid dysfunction

✓ Insulin resistance and PCOS

✓ Prolactin insufficiency

✓ Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy

✓ Nutritional depletion and anemia

✓ Stress physiology and adrenal dysregulation

✓ Complex low milk supply presentations

Milk Supply Mastery was created to help clinicians organize these patterns into a practical clinical framework that can be applied immediately in practice.

This is not about memorizing more information.

It is about understanding what questions to ask, what patterns to recognize, and when a deeper investigation may be needed.
