Clinician Education + Practice Tools for Complex Low Milk Supply
Milk Supply Mastery System
Low milk supply is often taught too simply. Many lactation professionals are taught to focus heavily on latch, milk removal, pumping frequency, weighted feeds, and supply-and-demand basics.
And while those pieces absolutely matter, they are not always the whole story.
In real clinical practice, low milk supply can be influenced by deeper physiological patterns that are not always fully explored in standard lactation education.
Milk Supply Mastery System was designed to help clinicians better understand the deeper physiological, hormonal, metabolic, and nutritional patterns that may contribute to low milk supply presentations.
The system combines:
• evidence-informed education
• structured progression
• clinician workflow support
• practical implementation tools
• and root-cause framework organization
to help providers feel more confident navigating complex lactation cases. Many clinicians are left trying to piece this together from scattered research, social media discussions, clinical experience, and the occasional “you should already know this” conversation.
The Milk Supply Mastery System was created to organize the missing pieces into one structured clinical learning experience.
Because complex low milk supply deserves more than generic advice.
Move from scattered information to structured clinical reasoning.
Milk Supply Mastery System was designed to help clinicians better understand the deeper physiological, hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, and stress-related patterns that may contribute to complex low milk supply cases.
Instead of relying on one-size-fits-all recommendations, this system helps you think through low milk supply with more structure, clarity, and clinical context.
You’ll learn how to recognize patterns, ask better intake questions, identify areas that may warrant further investigation, and organize your support plan more intentionally within your scope of practice.
By the end of the system, you’ll be better equipped to:
✓ understand root-cause categories that may impact milk production
✓ recognize clinical patterns that may need deeper investigation
✓ organize complex low supply cases more clearly
✓ use intake tools to gather more meaningful client information
✓ think critically about labs, symptoms, history, and presentation
✓ understand where herbal support may or may not fit
✓ create more thoughtful care plans and next-step recommendations
This system is not about memorizing more random facts. It is about building a clearer clinical framework.
Not every clinician needs the full system right away. Some simply need better intake forms. Others want more workflow guidance. And some are ready for the full clinical framework, training, and implementation toolkit.

This was designed to help clinicians learn the “why” behind complex low supply patterns and walk away with tools to support more organized clinical reasoning. No more seeing colleagues talk about labs and not have a clue on why that lab, what it means and what to do about it. No more going with the motion, you will learn how to understand exactly what, when , where and why and the biggest one .. HOW to actually help your low milk supply patients.
One pass, endless possibilities
Pump more. Latch more. Try fenugreek. If you have been giving that advice, or receiving it ,and it is not working, it is probably because the problem is not behavioral. It is physiological. Low milk supply can be caused by thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, prolactin insufficiency, adrenal dysregulation, iron deficiency anemia, or retained placental tissue. These are measurable, identifiable, treatable conditions. And most lactation training never teaches you how to find them.

Kenita Chenevert, BSHM, MA, IBCLC
Founder & CEOI am a board-certified lactation consultant, herbalist, and founder of Milk Drops, a low milk supply lactation support practice.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, a Master of Arts in Maternal and Child Health and Wellness with a major in Human Lactation, and an IBCLC certification. My background brings together clinical lactation care, maternal-child health, healthcare systems, and herbal medicine — which allows me to approach low milk supply from a more layered, root-cause perspective.
I built the Milk Supply Mastery System™ because I spent years watching patients fail every standard intervention and eventually realized the problem was not always what we were treating. We were looking at behavior when we should have been looking at bloodwork.
We were focusing on pumping frequency when we should have been asking about delivery complications. We were troubleshooting latch when we should have been asking about ice cravings, exhaustion, cycle changes, thyroid symptoms, metabolic history, and postpartum recovery patterns.
This system is everything I wish I had been taught earlier in my clinical journey. It was created from real clinical work with real low milk supply patient, the kind of cases where generic advice was not enough, and where deeper assessment made the difference.
My goal is to help lactation professionals better understand the physiological, hormonal, metabolic, nutritional, and stress-related patterns that can impact milk production, so they do not have to piece it together the long way.
Nothing is gatekept here. This system was built to help clinicians feel more informed, more organized, and more confident when supporting complex low milk supply cases.
