Welcome to Milk Drops, a lactation consulting family. We are family-owned and operated. I'm the owner, a wife, and a mother of 4 amazing and very active boys! I was born in Texas ( Military kid ) and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. I have been in Louisiana now for about 15 years. After having my first son and encountering breastfeeding hurdles, I became immersed in all things breastfeeding; as I didn't have a lot of professional help available to me. I began my Graduate Degree after baby #3 and graduated ( during an emergency c-section with #4 lol ) to become a Maternal and Child Health and Wellness Lactation Specialist. After completing intensive clinical training I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I love helping families, and seeing the excitement from the first latch or drops of gold is just amazing, it’s been an honor to help change the disparity in breastfeeding success rates and to serve this community. I have a unique approach to supporting families that I proudly enjoy “ not being an average lactation consultant”.

I am currently 1 of 7 BIPOC Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants in the state of Louisiana and the ONLY one on the Northshore of Louisiana, opening my private practice is not making history but it is truly a goal to become the change that our community so desperately need. When not directly tending to patients locally, I am conducting and participating in research studies to improve breastfeeding support and resources while subsequently providing breastfeeding support via the Pacify App as well as a provider on one of the largest comprehensive telehealth platforms for women’s and family health: Maven Clinic.

My number one goal is to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals. I will provide you with education and resources to help you make the best-informed decision for you and your family.
